Who exactly is Nelson Gibson?  To be perfectly honest I really don't know other that he is a Dialysis patient at Fresenius Kidney Care in Port St Lucie and is an avid trump supporter.  I will admit that I've never been to a Fresenius Kidney Care center.  Although it did take Davita six months to be approved for me to accompany my client her back into the unit.  She had extreme mental health issues, and I was the only one who could keep her calm enough to sit still and not complain.

I spent two years, three times a week doing this.  I had to wear a huge paper gown to be allowed in.  The reality of it is that one is sat in a recliner with only every other one being separated by a dialysis machine.  There is absolutely no privacy no matter however hard they try.  You basically can't move as one is connected to two IV lines, one in and one out, and a blood pressure cuff that automatically pumps up every ten minutes.

After all this time, I got to know the fellow patients, techs, and nurses.  I was the ONLY person ever allowed into the unit other than the staff.  I totally realized that I was a huge PIA for them.  This was due to the lack of space and I always got up and moved and helped them in any way that I was allowed.  They all ended up respecting me for doing so.

So in essence, Nelson Gibson is obstructing care to other dialysis patients.  The techs and nurses need to squeeze by the patients and the machines to provide care.  A life-size cardboard cut out will either need to be walked around or removed.  It costs Medicare $28 billion a year just for Dialysis.  The reality of is that if this man continues to do this, he will most certainly die.
